ImageConvert is a handy image tool that enables you to easily batch convert your pictures into various image formats.
The greatness of this program is that it doesn't require installation, you just run the program and you can start converting. That makes the program portable and you can always carry on a portable storage device and use it whenever you need it.
The program allows you to select only the folder with the images you want to convert, but after selecting the folder it provides you the option to select the images you want to convert.
The program features more then converting between various image formats. First of all, it provides you with useful information about the selected image (width, height and Color depth). Also it allows you to flip the image (horizontal or vertical), rotate it with 90 degrees (right of left) and change the color, but only two option are provided (Black&White and Grayscale).
Moreover, you can resize your pictures with different predefined sizes or you can set your own resizing values (width and height). This option comes very useful if you want to set an image as a desktop wallpaper, but the image doesn't fit the screen resolution because is too large or too small. You can always retain the aspect ratio of the image and modify only the width or the height.
A keep or delete the original image option (after conversion) is available, but since it doesn't have a preview of the changes before converting it's not wise to select 'Delete Original Image' option.
The program is very useful if you have lots of pictures and you just want to flip, rotate, resize and convert the images into different image formats.
